Kimberly Scott Creative isn't just a name.
Kimberly & Scott met in college in San Diego on a blind date. They fell in love, got married, bought a house, had 3 daughters that they loved so much — and then, as it tends to happen, life got messy.
In 2008 Kim was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. 4 years and lots more mess later, she lost her battle, leaving behind her husband, daughters, friends, and family who all loved her very much and miss her every day.
She was one of the most vibrant, loving, full-of-life people I have ever known. To know Kim was to love Kim. Creative, kind, loving, smart, brave, and the rock of the family. Her absence is felt during every holiday, every birthday, or just on the random Tuesday when you're feeling like you just need Kim's warmth.
She was the wife and mom that went above and beyond, always wanting the people in her life to feel special and seen. She's the kind of woman that came up with the 'Birthday Fairy' where she decorated your room and displayed your gifts and left you wondering, how the h3ll did she do that without waking me up? She was the magic at Christmas and handmade every Halloween costume, until she couldn't. Everything about that woman screamed I love my people and I want them to know it!!
We can't forget about Scooter... Scott is one of the funniest people I've ever known. The kind of funny that sneaks up on you, the kind that catches you off guard because he cracks jokes with a completely straight face. He's the kind of guy that just wants everyone to have fun and share a laugh and be together.
Scott held the whole family together with quiet, steady love during the four years Kim was sick — all while working full time, continuing to raise 3 daughters who were all at different stages of life, never complaining, never asking for anything in return. Ask anyone who knows him and they'll tell you the same thing: Scott would do absolutely anything for his girls and his people. Anything.
This brand is named for both of them because together they encompass everything I want this brand to be. Love, light, joy, humor, & always taking the good with the bad.
★ Hi, I'm Carly.
I am Kimberly & Scott's youngest daughter. Born and raised in Orange County, California, the youngest of three sisters, a proud "mom" to four cats (spare the cat lady jokes), a FIDM marketing grad, and someone who has always loved fashion, creativity, and self-expression.
I've dreamed of creating my own thing, my own path, for as long as I can remember. And in 2026, I finally decided to be brave. Brave like both my parents.
This is my thing. My leap of faith. My little piece of something that is completely, unapologetically mine. The thing that I hope to point to and say, "My mom would've been so proud of this".

Kimberly Scott Creative is a vintage-inspired apparel brand, combining Kim's warmth and whimsy with Scott's vibrance and humor. We make hats and tees that feel like they have a whole story behind them. Because they do.
Every design is created with love in Southern California and printed on demand, meaning each piece is made fresh just for you the moment you order it. Nothing goes to waste and everything gets worn with love.
